Where has Most Haunted gone?

Many people who have visited this blog recently have asked me the same questions. Where has Most Haunted gone? Why has Most Haunted finished?

Well, the answers are available within this blog for anyone to see. But very briefly, here are some of the main reasons.....

1. Poor viewing figures - click here for details
2. A track record of being less than honest with the viewing public. Click here for details and here.
3. Showing footage of questionable origin. Click here for details.
4. Perhaps the number one issue and one which will eventually see every single ghost hunting program fail......in all likelihood, ghosts do not exist!

Of course, it's more complex than just these reasons alone but if you browse the articles and videos in the blog archive you'll get a good understanding of why Most Haunted is no more.

  1. Ghosts do exist. I am a strong believer in the afterlife and ghosts. We have at least 3 in our house, a man, a little girl and a little black dog who we call Whiskers. We know these spirits are real because everyone in our famly has seen them (there are 4 of us). Also we have met Derek Acorah and what he told us he could not have known.

    1. There are no such things as haunted houses, only haunted minds, so if you are genuinely seeing these things you should, in all seriousness, visit a doctor and also get any gas appliances checked for carbon monoxide emissions.

Don't fall for the tricks of the psychics. They use a wide array of techniques which to make it seem like they know the unknowable. Don't be fooled by them.

  5. I always found the idea of ghosts interesting but never thought I would have the experience of....well meeting or seeing one. But I did have an experience roughly 7 years ago working at a plastics factory doing night shifts in Tewkesbury. I was about a month in my job and working on the bottom bay on my own. Noone was near me at all and well I was sat down and kept seeing what I thought was someone in the distance at the corner of my eye. I would look and noone would be there. It would happen again and again and it looked like it was getting closer. I didnt think GHOST?! I just thought clearly I was tired and my brain was playing tricks. NEXT I started getting like finger taps on the back of my neck, enough for me to turn around and theres noting but a wide open space, noone there. Couple of minutes later im getting taps again. At this point im thinking my muscles must be twitching in the back of my neck. NEXT my coat gets pulled that im wearing?! I actually saw it move and got up, looked to see if there was any possible way I could of caught it on the chair. At this point I still wasnt thinking its a ghost but I was confused. Confused enough to go to my big ass scary boss to say I was experiencing weird things on the bottom bay where I was working. I told him I was feeling tapping, by the time I could finish my sentence he said "tapping on your neck yea its a ghost" he said it like it was nothing. I didnt believe him and then the assistant manager came up to us and the manager mentioned I had an experience. Assistant manager said something along the lines of "yea it doesnt feel right down there" manager then told me how he felt something punch him in the back of the head in one of the offices near the bottom bay. I freaked and ran to this polish guy in the other factory who had been working there by what I know for a while and seemed friendly. I ran up to him and said in raw english so he would understand me "bottom bay, tap on neck" he looked at me confused and then went "..........ahhh yes ghost". There was no way he knew what I was talking about or experiencing in the other factory. Then I was scared. But never experienced anything after that night.
I totally understand why people think ghosts are stories and its either bullshit or mental health etc but once you have an experience, it will make you rethink.

    1. I've certainly had experiences that could be labelled "paranormal", but if I think about them rationally and calmly I realise there are non-paranormal explanations which are much more likely. In truth I'm sure the above story is no different.

  6. I would love to believe you and it being something other than a ghost, but I and others were certain. Theres another part of the story that I forgot to mention. When I was talking to the manager and him explaining to me what he experienced. He would go to the office and call his boss and he use to feel these taps on his neck, he would ignore it until it got to the stage where he said he felt being punched in the back of the head with him shouting and swearing whilst still on the phone. There way of combating the issue was that the manager would have to take someone with them to make the calls to his boss. In the end they had to buy a massive telephone extension and trail it out of the office window and down away from the bottom bay..... I guess it doesnt prove anything by what I just said but I guess the whole thing was just weird. I remember asking one of the staff what was at the factory before it was a factory and they said it was just a garage. Just weird.

  7. I think a lot of people watch MH as proof of life after death.I am 70 now when i was 13 myself and some friends went into a disused cemetry to get some wood of trees that had died fot bonfire night, one mates dropped is axe and ran we wonderd what was the matter and when we looked the two of ran we saw bush with a glow all around it. We went back the next day in daylight to get rhe axe that had been dropped and with a bit of bravado went to the bush that had started to glow behind the bush there was grav that had collapsed.?
